It’s time to vacation and it’s not too late to plan a great family vacation in the Northeast. Pennsylvania is a state situated in the Middle Atlantic and Northeastern areas of the United State. It is also called as the Keystone State and it borders several other states.

There is West Virginia in the southwest. To the south are Maryland and Delaware. To the west is Ohio. New Jersey is on the east and to the north are both Canada and New York. Pennsylvanias most populated cities are Allentown Pittsburgh and Philadelphia.

Pennsylvania is home to several professional sports teams such as the Pittsburgh Pirates and Philadelphia Phillies of the Major League Baseball the Pittsburgh Steelers and Philadelphia Eagles for the National Football League and the Philadelphia Soul of the AFL. It is also the home of the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Hockey League and the Philadelphia 76ers of the National Basketball Association. It is also home to the states first zoo namely the Philadelphia Zoo.
